Welcome to Renees Reptile Rescue and Rehabilitation!

Renees Reptile Rescue

Welcome to our reptile page!  If you are inquiring about what reptiles we have that are up for adoption, please email me at:  reneesreptilerescue@cox.net and let me know what you are interested in.

Please remember, all of the animals that are for adoption have been rescues, many have been neglected, abused or both. I take pride in our animals, which i personally have nursed back to the best health they can be in, socialized and or tamed them with blood sweat and tears....and flesh at times! (my flesh seems to be problematic for some of them, possibly because it lacks scales. hmpf!)

Some of the reptiles I have received have been mite infested, bitten by their prey, missing toes etc. Some are not 'beautiful' by the normal standards, but to us, their personalities and quirks are what makes them who and what they are. Each individual is special in their own way. Some of them will always be special needs, and some I thought would always be special needs, have surprised me and come back almost to perfect health! Don't let their looks fool you, (I will be posting pics of our rescues and what is currently up for adoption, as well as future adoptions) all of these wonderful herps have HUGE potential to be wonderful pets and companions.

Please check out the Tetra site also, we use ALOT of their products.  NO this isn't an advertisement and I'm not sponsored by them, but I did get permission to add a link to their site and I do use their products.

Also, please visit my friends at the SPCA.  These people do wonderful work and honestly, most of my referals come from them.  A HUGE thank you to the folks at the SPCA for all the lives they've helped me save!
