This beautiful little guy is Monster. Our very first rescue over 3 years ago
When we got him, Monster had a broken jaw and a shattered front leg. (What IS it with people kicking reptiles?! ARGH!) and about 5 layers of shedding. We took him with us to the pet store where the employees kept asking "what IS that? a monitor?" because with all his shedding, he didn't look at ALL like the beautiful savanna he is!
Always Happy...
Monster is free from his vegetarian diet (the people gave him bites of chicken once a week or so "Because he seemed to like it" but thought he was supossed to eat only veggies) and is now on a diet of pre-killed mice.
Its been a long hard road, but as you can see, Monster is now stunning and always smiling!
